The Old Montreal is the oldest area in the city of Montreal, Quebec, Canada, dating back to New France.Ok, enough with the Wikipedia stuff! It is an awesome place to check out in Eastern Canada (eh?)!
We drove a few long hours from Toronto to get here, and it is worth the drive. Once you get there you will hear people talk in French, the signboards are written in French, and even the food smells like French?!
Awesome old architecture dated back from….well i dunno….but it’s cool! I tried my first Poutine and Smoked Meat sandwich in the Old Montreal and it has a pretty descent taste.
The street performances are pretty damn entertaining, the locals have a thing for real music.
I also got my first illegal parking ticket worth $60++! I didn’t know I parked in a residential spot, well whatever…the tour goes on.
It’s a must place to visit!
